S.A.3 Axe of flint. Complete. Highly polished blade. Convex faces sloping to a blunted edge, excepting the blade which is sharpened. Worked over all surfaces. Straight butt which is narrower than the blade. L: 155 W: 177 T:35. Found on a drive near Cardigan amongst other material bought in from elsewhere. Temp Catalogue No 00.2626 B.1 Half-flanged axe of bronze. Undamaged with traces of pitting. Overcleaned previous to donation. Small shoulder, stop-ridge and cast flanges descending below the stop-ridge. L:151 W:66. Found in the Ystwyth Valley locality. Side faces almost flat. Circular socket. L:97. Socket Diameter: 30 x 34-44 x 40.
