Notes for Contributors All contributions should be typed, double-spaced, and have a clear left hand margin. Footnotes will be printed at the end of each article. They should be num- bered consecutively, typed on a separate sheet or sheets, and attached to the typescript of the article. They should be kept to a minimum, and should contain specific references rather than an amplification of the text to which they refer. Particular care should be taken to conform with the abbreviations and methods of quoting book titles etc. used in previous volumes of this journal. Unsatisfactory typescripts will be returned to authors for emendation. In view of the high cost of production, a final completely correct typescript must be supplied for the printer's use. Only printer's errors can be corrected in proof. Contributors will be asked to pay the cost of their own alterations and additions. Contributions should be sent to either of the joint-editors.
