H.L.L. Pennell, R.N., navigating officer of the Terra Nova who went down with his ship HMS Queen Mary at the Battle of Jutland, in 1916. In 1918, Daniel Radcliffe endowed another bed 'In Memory of the Brave Deeds of Captain Evans Both on 'Terra Nova' and on HMS 'Broke' Lt.
