The bibliography has been compiled by the Chairman of the Executive Committee with the assistance of Mr. Ieuan T. Hughes, B.A. In this connection special thanks must be given to Mr. David Thomas, B.A., who circularized all the workers in the Rural Lore Scheme, and obtained a mass of most valuable information, not only as to local histories, but also with regard to local literature of all kinds. We hope this information may be utilized on some future occasion; on the present occasion we have simply extracted the references to local history. Abbreviations A.=Area. P.=Population.
