On side of the main road, or just inside the adjacent field, between Glandyfi and Tre'r ddol, near the eleventh milestone long established. Discovered by Mr. George Rees, 1904. [THALICTRUM MINUs L. b. MONTANUM Wallr. Mountain Meadow-rue. Should occur on Plynlumon plentiful on Cader Idris and on the Carmarthen Fan. Seen in a cottage garden at Ponterwyd, and not likely to have been brought from any distance. T. 0. Morgan gives Cwm Graig. This is probably a Merionethshire locality.] ANEMONE NEMOROSA L. Wood Anemone. Frequent woods, copses, shady banks, hill pastures. Llyfnant Valley (as at Glasbwll); Eglwys Fach (at the waterfall); Tre Taliesin D61-y-bont Ceulan valley in the Aberystwyth district, as in Cwm Woods, on the Paith brook, Cwm Coedwig, Geufron (opposite Llanbadarn), South Gate Rheidol valley (at inter- vals, to Devil's Bridge); Nant Salem Rhyddnant (to its head, 1,400 ft.); Pentre Briwnant Blaen Myheryn Plynlumon (to 2,000 ft.); Nant Magwyr Cnwch Coch; Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn Cwm Brwyno above Strata Florida Abbey (as at Pant-y- Fedwen, hill pastures of the Glasffrwd); Claerddu Tywi valley (Hirnant, Fannog, etc.); Lledrod; Aeron valley (as at Llannerchaeron, Llanllyr, Nant Afallen); Mydr valley, below Mydroilyn Lampeter district (as at Derry Ormond); cliff slopes of the coast (as at Trwyn Croi, N. of Llangrannog); Teifi valley (as at Llechryd). Mauve-coloured and purplish varieties of the flower occur.
