Record of Meetings. Since the record given in Volume IX (1933), the following general meetings of the Society have been held September 16th, 1933, on Crug Mawr, near Cardigan, Mr. D. J. Davies, Rhiwgoch, and the Hon. Secretary (Mr. D. Ernest Davies) gave accounts of local history. Cilgerran Castle and Manordeifi were also visited. At Manordeifi Church the Rev. Cellan Evans, St. Padarn's Church, Paddington, gave an address on the Rev. John Blackwell, Alun October 28th, 1933, at the National Library of Wales, the Chief Librarian (Mr. W. Ll. Davies, M.A.) gave an address illus- trated by slides on Cardiganshire local records and the compilation of a county history May 16th, 1934, at the Memorial Hall, Llanrhystyd. Papers were read by Mr. G. Dyfnallt Owen, B.A. on The granges of Strata Florida Abbey and by the Rev. I. Harries Williams, vicar (for Mr. W. Edwards) on local history and traditions. Mr. and Mrs. D. Alban Davies, Brynawelon, entertained the members to tea. July 4th, 1934, at St. David's College, Lampeter. Papers were read by Mr. W. Ll. Davies, M.A. of the National Library of Wales, on Material for the Cardiganshire County History and by Mr. E. G. Bowen, M.A., University College of Wales, on Cardiganshire in prehistoric times Tea was provided on the College grounds and visits were made to the Museum and Library. November 24th, 1934, at the Town Hall, Aberystwyth. Mr. R. Osborne Jones spoke on Recent excavations at Strata Florida and the Hon. Secretary gave an account of cattle-drovers. Members were entertained to tea by the Mayor (Alderman D. Edwards) and the Corporation. March 2nd, 1935, at the University College of Wales, Aber- ystwyth. An illustrated address on The Iron Age fortress of Pendinas was given by Professor C. Daryll Forde, B.A., Ph.D., and Miss Evelyn Lewes, who entertained the members to tea, also gave an address on The aims and achievements of the Society May 25th, 1935, at the Memorial Hall, Aberayron. Papers were read by Mr. D. G. Griffiths, County Librarian, Aberystwyth, on "The importance of local history and by Mr. Dan Jenkins, Pentrefelin, on Dyftryn Aeron
