Clearly this is an excellent reference work and the authors and publishers are to be congratulated on its very fine production. In comparison with the Balsom and Burch handbook it lacks an over- view of the basic features and issues of Welsh politics, yet more than makes up for this deficiency by its historical depth and the range of data incorporated into this handsome ready reference work.
