A REFORMATION EPISODE IN RADNORSHIRE. By Dr. E. A. LEWIS, D.LITT., D.Sc., Aberystwyth. DR. E. A. Lewis says-" Of some sixteen hundred suits conceining Wales in the extant proceedings of the English Chancery Court on its Equity side from the earliest times to the end of the reign of Philip and Mary, 86 relate to the County of Radnor." A list of these Dr. Lewis has sent to us, giving the names of Complainants and Defendants, with the context of each case, but the case of Rice ap Gwyllym versus Lewis ap Morgan, parson of Aberedw, he has given in full as follows, for which we are very grateful.
