VOL. XV. 1 The end of the war, which occurred since the publication of our last report, has not enabled the Society to resume its full activities yet, but we are able to produce another volume of our Transactions. For this we owe much to our contributors, particularly Mr. W. H. Howse of Presteigne, whose researches into the past at Presteigne and at Hereford provide an unfailing source of interest to our members. A letter from Mr. E. J. Cole, now in His Majesty's Forces in India, says that he is looking forward to his demobilisation, when lie hopes to resume his articles on Radnorshire Wills and Documents. 2. There is a slight drop in the numbers of our members. There are several resignations and four members have died during the year. (a) Mr. Rowland Tench of Knighton had been, with Mrs. Tench, a member since the Society was formed fifteen years ago. For part of that period, Mr. Tench served on our Executive Committee. His assistance in helping to arrange our excursions will not be forgotten. His knowledge of Radnorshire and Radnorshire people was wide and deep. It was always a pleasure and an instruction to discuss our problems with Mr. Rowland Tench. XLhc IRafcnorsbire Society ^Transactions. FIFTEENTH ANNUAL REPORT. DECEMBER 1945.
