Like its parent, the Radnorshire Society, the Branch has been in abeyance during the war period but thanks to the new Emergency Training College for Teachers there is every sign of an enthusiastic revival. The Vice-Principal of the College (Miss Isobel Edwards, M.A., B. LITT.), is a member of the Historical Association Council, and at Professor Treherne's lecture, to which members were invited, it was unanimously decided to reform the Branch in conjunction with members of the College. Whether we shall continue under the wing of the Radnorshire Society remains to be seen until after the first meeting, when officers will be appointed.
