THE RADNORSHIRE SOCIETY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION. The annual subscription is increased to 15/ or £ 1/5/0 for a Joint Membership (e.g. husband and wife, etc.), from 1st October 1969, when the next subscription is due. Members are in- vited to pay by Banker's Order, and a form for this purpose may be obtained from the Hon. Treasurer. TRANSACTIONS. Members are entitled to receive one copy of the Society's Transactions, which are published annually. Joint Members receive one copy between them. The following past volumes are still available and may be obtained on application to the Hon. Editor, c/o County Library, County Hall, Llan- drindod Wells Vols. 8-11 and 21-29 and 31 to date. (Special rates to members). The Committee welcomes the return of unwanted volumes, particularly those which are out-of-print. INDEX. A General Index to Volumes I-XXVI (1931-1956) of the Society's Transactions was published in 1960, copies of which are still available. Price 2/- (Member's rate), 3/6 (Non-Members). PUBLICATIONS. Part I of the definitive report on the 1954-57 excavations, "The defences and gates of Castell Collen auxiliary fort," may be obtained from the Hon. Editor, price 2/6d., plus postage (6d.). The Report is the work of the excavator, Mr. Leslie Alcock, M.A., F.S.A., and has been reprinted from Archaeologia Cambrensis, 1964. LIBRARY. Members are reminded that the books and papers of the Society are in the custody of the County Librarian and may be consulted in the County Reference Room at the Library Headquarters, County Hall, Llandrindod Wells. Hours of opening 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. from Mondays to Fridays. (Closed on public holidays).
