Although not concerned with Wales, this book covers so many facets of wild-life conservation, and is so readable, that it ought to be a priority bedside book for naturalists. It is packed with incident and information covering a grand tour of almost the whole of North America, and some of the methods of conservation described could well have their application to parts of wild Wales which are still in miniature as unspoilt as the wildernesses of America.
