Abundant near Bwlchy- corn Chapel, Rhydargaeau, with Snowdrops and Lesser Peri- winkle (J.). Hedgebank near Porthyrhyd, on Carboniferous Limestone (shown to M. by J. G. DURTON). Ranunculus auricomus (Goldilocks Buttercup). Moist copse near the Helleborus at Porthyrhyd (M.). Aquilegia vulgaris (Columbine). Hedgebanks near Ffoshelig, Rhydargaeau hedgebank on Rhiw Bedw, Pontarsaes roadside near Capel Bach, Peniel (all J.). Meconopsis cambrica (Welsh Poppy). Rocky bank at Penybont, near Talog (M.). Corydalis claviculata (Climbing Corydalis). In Cwmceir wood, in abundance, on 30 July, 1955 and in hedgerows around the barns of Gors farm, Rhydargaeau (both J.). C. lutea (Yellow Corydalis). On walls around Danfforgar farm, Pontarsaes, for at least 40 years (J.). Viola odorata var. dumetorum (White Sweet Violet). Llan- ddowror, in April, 1953 (B.). V. lutea (Mountain Pansy). Specimen with purple flowers, in short turf on a small common near Llangynnor (M.). V. tricolor ssp. Curtisii (Seaside Pansy). Plentiful on dunes of the Towy estuary at Ferryside (M.). Claytonia alsinoides (' Pink Purslane'). In 1956, on shingle of the River Bran, near Llandovery the first plant discovered by Mrs. L. E. ENTHOVEN, and a colony of them later discovered a little upstream by V. First record for the county. Atriplex sabulosa (Frosted Orache). One plant on dunes at Ferryside (M.). Geranium pratense (Meadow Cranesbill). Roadside near the village of Maesycrugiau, on 24 June, 1955 (J.). Coronilla varia (Crown Vetch). Well-established under cover of Symphoricarpus rivularis in a hedge near Llandefeilog (M.). Apium inundatum (Lesser Marshwort). In the mud around Bishop's Pond, Abergwili (J.).
