PROCEEDINGS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE WEST WALES FIELD SOCIETY HELD AT THE MASONIC HALL, HAVERFORDWEST, ON SATURDAY 25th JULY, 1959 The President, the Lord Merthyr, took the Chair at 2.30 p.m. and there were some 150 members present. The Hon. Secretary read the notice convening the meeting. 1. The minutes of the annual meeting held on 26th April, 1958, were confirmed and signed by the President. 2. On the proposition of the Chairman (Mr. R. M. Lockley) and seconded by Miss Morwyth Rees, the 21st. Annual Report of the Society, as published in Nature in Wales, Vol. 5, No. 2, pp. 784- 789, and the Audited Statement of Accounts for the year ended 31st December, 1958, were adopted. 3. On the proposal of Mr. J. H. Barrett, seconded by Mr. T. Warren Davis, a motion was considered "that this meeting regrets that there has been cause for disagreement amongst members of the Society during the last year." Mr. J. E. Gwyther proposed an amendment that the words cause for be deleted from the proposition. On being put to the meeting the proposition was carried. 4. Mr. T. L. Davey proposed and Mr. W. K. Rose seconded, that a special committee be set up to review the present con- stitution of the Society and to submit their proposals for any altera- tions or additions to the present constitution which they deem necessary, in time for these proposals to be circulated to all members before 31st December, 1959, in accordance with Rule 22 of the existing constitution, in order that they may be discussed and
