PLANTS CARMARTHEN Gymnocarpium dryopteris (Oak Fern). In the upper Towy valley near Ystradffin, on 22nd July (J. W. DONOVAN). Cochlearia danica (Danish Scurvy-grass). On the walls of Newcastle Emlyn Castle, 7 miles from the sea, on 22nd April (A. O. and E. H. CHATER and W. M. CONDRY). Rorippa sylvestris (Yellow Marsh Cress). See under Cards. Polygonum bistorta (Bistort). On the roadside near Pumpsaint on 27th May (J.W.D.). Lilium pyrenaicum (Pyrenean Lily). Taliaris, Llandilo (Mrs. M. BARNES). PEMBROKE Lycopodium selago (Fir Clubmoss). Several plants on Carn- menyn, Prescelly, on 5th August (J. W. DONOVAN). This species is very rare in S. W. Wales and was not recorded there during the period of the Botanical Society's Maps Scheme (see Atlas Br. Fl., 1). Lycopodium clavatum (Stag's-horn Clubmoss). A few plants near Carnbreseb, Prescelly, on 5th August (J. W. D.). This is another species rare in S. W. Wales. Cryptogramma crispa (Parsley Fern). Several plants in an old slate quarry at Rosebush, on 29th July (J. W. D.) first record for Pembs. and S. W. Wales. (In Merioneth it has been noted that where this species has descended to a low altitude it is usually in slate quarries.) Corydalis claviculata (Climbing Corydalis). On cliff slope with Bracken on Ramsey Island (T. A. W. DAVIS). Hornungia petraea (Rock Pepperwort). Many plants in flower on inner sand-dunes near outfall of Bosherston Pools, Broad Haven, on 31st March (J. W. D.). Barbarea verna (Early-flowering Yellow Rocket, Land-cress). Roadside hedgebank at Solva (T. A. W. D.). Sisymbrium orientale (Eastern Rocket). A short stunted plant with a woody stem at Fishguard harbour, in flower on 7th October 1961 (J. W. D., det. A. E. WADE). Sarothamnus scoparius ssp. prostratus (a broom). Cliff at Porth- mynwyd, Brawdy (T. A. W. D.). Filipendula vulgaris (Dropwort). Many plants in flower along- side the A.40 road at Slebech on 28th June (J.W.D.).
