FERAL GOATS This female whose estimated age is 6-7 years shows the "spiky" horns characteristic of her sex. The kid photographed in block scree below the milestone buttress of Tryfan was 7 days old and quite active. This 4 year-old male was photographed at Craig Llyn Teyrn (Snowdon) in April 1967. The tendency to dark forequarters common, par- ticularly in males, is well shown. The anterior keel of the horn and its sweeping curve is well seen in the photograph.
