THE JOURNAL OF THE Welsh Bibliographical Society VOL. I. DECEMBER, 1911. No. 3 A Bibliographical Note on some of the Printed and Manuscript Sources of the Medieval History of the Welsh Boroughs. The following note is printed exactly as it was compiled some seven years ago in connection with my researches into the history of the North Welsh boroughs. I publish it with the hope that it will be of some use at least to those desiring to take up the study of their local or native boroughs. It makes no pretensions at being in any way a complete survey the illustrative instances are in many cases confined to North Wales, with which district I was then more especially concerned. I propose later to amplify it with a view to compiling a fairly adequate bibliography of the Historical materials relating to the municipalities of Medieval and Modem Wales. Should any readers of the Bibliographical Journal feel disposed to assist in the work, their contributions under any of the sub- headings provisionally made in this short article will be thankfully received and duly acknowledged.
