31. Register of Tirdonkin Chapel, Llangyfelach, 1688- 1784. This is among the Williams MSS. at the National Library,Aberystwyth. 32. The Register of Births and Baptisms, compiled by the Rev. Roger Howell, Baran, Llangyfelach. April 27th, 1806 — June 16th, 1837. This was found in a disused garret in one of the farms not so long ago, but is carefully looked after now. W. R. W. The book is listed in the Cambrian Bibliography, but Rowlands has left out the author's and printer's name, and one searches his index in vain for Assheton, W. As the dedication shows, the translator was the Rev. T. Williams, vicar of Denbigh. The Book of Homilies will be printed in Welsh in 12° on the same sort of Paper and in the same Character with this Book, and will be ready at or before Easter-Term, in the year 1711, to be delivered to such as are charitably disposed, to encourage the Impression, at Four Shillings per Book in Quires and care will be taken to have 30 Select Sermons of Bishop Beveridge's, printed in the same Language, if sufficient Contributions or Subscriptions are made to carry on so Chargeable a Work. These will be also delivered in Quires at 4s. per Book."
