Bibliographical Notes. Varying Editions. In a note in the last number of the JOURNAL, attention was called to the differences in copies of the 1725 English- Welsh Dictionary. It is curious that similar differences occur in the second edition of this work published in 1737. The title page is as follows Y I Geirlyfr I Saesneg a Chymraeg neu'r I Saesneg o flaen y Cymraeg. Yn cynwys yr holl Eiriau sy' angenrheidiol i ddeall y ddwy Jaith, eithr yn fwy enwedig- ol, i Gyfieithu'r Saesneg i'r Cymraeg. I Ym mha un y bydd hawdd i chwi daro wrth I air, neu Eiriau Cymraeg i bob Gaer Saesneg. A ddechreuwyd ar y Cyntaf gan Sion Rhydd lerch, ag a ddibenwyd yn awr, ynghyd a I Chwaneg- iad o lawer cant o Eiriau gan y I Parchedig Mr. John Williams Person Plwyf Willey yn Sir Amwythig. [ac Mr. Lewis I Evans am Llandessilio.) Argraphwyd yn y Mwythig ac ar werth yno I gan Thomas Durston. 1737. An English translation of the title page faces the Welsh title page in both copies, and the name of Mr. Lewis Evans has also been added in one of the two copies. There is also a difference in the lines which cross the page. The only other difference between the copies is in the errata page at the end of the book, where a paragraph has been inserted in one issue stating that several hundreds of which words were sent by Mr. Lewis Evans of Llan- dessilio.' It is fairly evident that the copies in which the name of Lewis Evans has been added were later copies of the book which had been previously issued with only the name of the Rev. J. Williams. N. S. S. Trial of the Bishop of Bangor (Vol. I., p. 260). There were several publications in connection with this trial:-
