The Secretary reported that, acting upon a resolution of the Swansea Meeting of 1914, he had written a second time to the compilers of the Index to Welsh Periodicals,' asking them upon what terms they were prepared to hand over the MS. to the Society, with a view to its publica- tion. No reply, however, had been received. Arising out of a Minute of the same date which recom- mended the purchase of some 200 copies for the use of members of the' Lists of Books for Welsh School Libraries' (which have since appeared as a part of A Nation and its Books, issued by the Welsh Department of the Board of Education), the Council resolved to leave the final decision to the Chairman, Editor, and Secretary, provided that the price of each copy would not exceed 6d. [It was found, on inquiry, that this was not possible.] The question of arrears of certain subscriptions were dealt with. Mr. Pierre Mocaer was elected a Corresponding Member for Brittany. Query 70.-1 have in my possession an old Welsh Sermon, pub- lished in pamphlet form, with the following title page — Pregeth I Ynghylch yr hen I Ffydd I yn gosod allan gamgymeriad y Papistiaid I yn galw eu I Crefydd I Wrth yr Enw hwnnw Argraph- wyd Ynghaerlleon, gan E. Ince, 1714.' Could anyone give some information as to the authorship of this sermon ? I might add that the text is Jerem. vi. 16,' and also that the book is mentioned under year 1714 in Rowlands' Llyfryddiaeth y Cymry without a note or comment. Llysfaen Rectory. T. Lmschtd JONES.
