The Editor tenders his grateful thanks to those who have helped him with contributions. His only regret is that the contributors are relatively few in number. No Editor likes to have to edit a journal and at the same time be forced to contribute much to it him- self in order to fill in gaps!' He would like to see the Journal printing more and shorter articles together with brief Notes. And have Welsh bibliographers no Queries nowadays ? The Editor offers no apology for devoting eleven pages of this number to a review and appreciation of Mr. Llewelyn Lloyd's recently-issued monograph on The Book- Trade in Shropshire. Some Account of the Stationers, Booksellers and Printers at work in the County to about 1800. His reason for not offering an apology is that he considers that the monograph is one which all Welsh bibliographers who succeed in getting a copy of it will find of very great assistance when they deal with Welsh books printed in
