Report of the Annual Meeting of the Society, 1935. THE 1935 ANNUAL MEETING was held in the spacious rooms of Moriah Chapel, Caernarvon, on August 8, 1935. The COUNCIL met at 4.20 p.m., Sir John Edward Lloyd, D.Litt., F.B.A., in the chair. Others present were the Ven. the Archdeacon of Bangor Professor Ifor Williams, M.A, D.Litt. Mr. R. T. Jenkins, M.A., LL.B.; Mr. D. Caradog Evans; Rev. T. Llechid Jones, B.A. Mr. T. E. Morris, Ll.M., M.A. Rev D. Eurof Walters, M.A., B.D. and the Hon Secretary. The Treasurer, who was unable to attend, had sent forward his statement of accounts, certified by the auditor, for the year ending June 30, 1935. This showed a balance in hand, at the beginning of the year, of £ 41 4s. 2d. The receipts were Sub- scriptions, £ 54 12s. 6d. (2) Advertisements in the Journal, £ 10 16s. od. (3) Interest on deposits, £ 4 6s. 6d. Expenditure included the printing and circulation of Vol. IV., no 5, of the Journal, £ 40 is. 6d. (2) 650 2-page circulars for propaganda, £ I 2s. 6d. (3) 300 invitation cards and circulars for the Annual Meeting, £ 2 10s. od. (4) Postages, Stationery, etc., £ 3 18s. 5d. This left a balance in hand of £ 63 6s. 9d., on June 30, 1935. The report was adopted. Special note was taken of the excellent double number of the Journal (Vol. IV., No. 6), which had just been issued, and sym- pathy with the Editor (Mr. W. Ll. Davies, M.A.) in his illness was expressed. Letters of apology for absence had been received from Lady Howard Stepney, J.P., Llanelly; the Lord Bishop of Llandaff; Sir Evan D. Jones, Bart., Ll.D. Professor Henry Lewis, M.A., D.Litt. Archdeacon David Williams, M.A., Aberystwyth Archdeacon J. E. Williams, Chirk Miss G. H. Dillwyn Llewelyn (' Gwenllian o Benllergaer ')
