Apologies for absence were received from Dr. Geraint Gruffydd, Major H. J. Lloyd- Johnes and the Treasurer, Mr. W. Griffiths. An application was received from the Wales and Monmouthshire Branch of the Library Association, asking that the Society should recognise the Branch by granting it representation on the Council. The view was expressed that this would not accord with the consti- tution, but the matter was deferred for further consideration by the Council and the Officers. The President and Secretary were also asked to devise a method by which a proportion of the members of the Council would retire on rota. Officers' Reports the Secretary reported that 53 institutions and 107 individuals were in membership of the Society, and there had been some increase in membership during the year. The Treasurer's report showed a credit balance of £ 249/10/4 on June 30, 1968. The Editor announced that the next issue of the Journal was due to be published soon, and appealed to the members to contribute biblio- graphical notes to be considered for inclusion in future issues. An address on "Welsh Border Printers" was delivered by Mr. Brynmor Jones, Aberystwyth, and the thanks of the Society were expressed by Mr. E. D. Jones.
