LLANFYLLIN OLD CHURCH, 1706. IN his History of the Parish of Llanfyllin," in the third volume of these Collections, Canon Williams states that the present Church dedicated to St. Myllin, is a plain edifice of red brick, erected circa 1706 on the site of the former church, which had become dilapidated. It was consecrated by Bishop Beveridge. There are no papers relating to the former church except a ground plan and the names of the principal owners of seats or benches, viz., Adam Pryce, Lord Powis, Edward Vaughan, Neh.
