art which he now useth by the best meanes he may or can shall teach and instruct or cause to be taught and instructed as much as to the said art or Craft of a Sadler belongeth or in any wise appertaineth with due correction finding unto his said apprentice sufficient meat drinke apparell Lodging & all other necessaries meet & convenient for an Apprentice during the said terme and for the true p'formance of all and singular the said Covenants and agreements either of the Sd partys bindeth himself unto the other firmely by these presents. In witnesse whereof the said parties to these presents their hands or seales interchangeably have put the six and twentieth day of October in the ffifth yeare of the reigne of our Soveraigne Lord & Lady William & Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland Ffrance and Ireland King and Queene Defenders of the ffaith etc Sealed and delivered (after the interlinaton of the words in the second Line hereof This Indenture, made the Ninth daye of December in the seventh year of the reigne of our Sovraigne Lord William the Third by the Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland King Defender of the Ffaith etc Ano domini 1695 Betweene Charles Jones sonne of Charles Jones of Oswestrey Corviser deceased of the First parte Richard Jones Esqr Mayor of Oswestrey And Nathaniell Edwards Cloathworker & William Piggott Corviser gardians of the Parish Church of Oswestrey of the second parte and Peter Peirce of Oswestrey aforesaid in the County of Salope Taylor of the Third parte Witnesseth that the said Charles Jones (by and with the Consent of the said Richard Jones Nathaniell Edwards & William Piggott and of the sume of Three pounds of Lawfull money paid to the said Peter Peirce hath put & bound himselfe an apprentice to and with the said Peter Peirce to be Instructed & tought in the Arte Trade mistery or occupation of a Taylor & with him to Continue & dwell from the daye of the date hereof for & dureing the Terme & space of Eight years next ensuing fully to be compleate & ended, And bee the said Charles Jones doth Coven' himselfe & grant by these Anno Dni 1693 JAMES FFOLIN (Qy.
