POWYSLAND CLUB EXCURSIONS 1984 As usual three excursions were organised this year: JUNE 9th, 1984 The Minsterley Region, visiting Caus Castle and Minsterley Church led by Major E. H. C. Davies. The excursion continued under the guidance of Mr. P. Phillips to Snailbeach, The Bog and Whitegrit. JULY 7th A visit to Knighton to view the Offa's Dyke Visitors Centre under the guidance of Mr. P. Ferguson followed by a tour of the town conducted by Mr. A. Lovelock. SEPTEMBER 1st Excursion to the Tanat Valley led by Mr. I. Trant with talks given at each of the following locations, Llangynog, Llwyn Bryn Dinas, Llanerch Emrys, Llanyblodwel Church and village by Mrs Pauline Phillips, Major E. H. C. Davies, Dr. T. M. Humphreys, Dr. B. Jones and Mr. C. R. Musson.
