Special Note In Powysiana in Vol. 72, the name "Llwyn Wron" (which might be translated "Hero's Grove") was queried. Local investigation provides the field names of "Gridiau" ("war-whoops") also in Dyserth and "Tir Arwr" (Hero's Land") near-by in Stredalfedan. "Llwyn Wron" appears to fit its surroundings!. D.W.S.
