Between August 1791 and March 1792, Rothwell published half-a-dozen engravings of views in or near Swansea, some marked engraved by Rothwell others published by Rothwell". The printed titles were Port and Bay of Swansea, Glamorgan- shire North-east View of the Town of Swansea South- east view of Clasemont, the seat of J. Morris, Esq. Penrice Castle, Glamorganshire, Seat of T. M. Talbot, Esqr. Sketty Hall, a Seat of R. Sheldon, Esqr. and Briton Ferry near Neath, a seat of Lord Vernon In addition to these prints carrying Rothwell's name, there are three others clearly from the same hand, but bearing the legend that they were published by Coles and Haynes the owners of the Cambrian Pottery. These are of the Cambrian Pottery, the Bathing House (subsequently the Infirmary), and the Copper Works at Forest. There is a fourth engraving, of Aberdulais Mill and Waterfall, which though published by Coles and Haynes, is not by Rothwell and yet another by Rothwell, of J. M. Turner's Swansea Castle, published in The Pocket Magazine in 1795, which seems to have no connexion with the pottery. Penrice Castle (1791-2) by Thomas Rothwell
