Since the note which appeared in a previous number of this Journal,1 the Misses Gwendoline and Margaret Davies have presented two other books printed at the Gregynog Press in 1936 and specially bound for the National Library. One is number 13 of 150 copies of Cyrupaedia the institution and life of Cyrus, the first of that name, King of Persians Translated out of Greeke into English, and conferred with the Latine and French translations by Philemon Holland of the City of Coventry, Doctor in Physick. This work is hand-set and was printed, under the direction of Loyd Haberley, in black and red with capitals in red and green. The copy presented is bound in maroon morocco, with conventional design in blind and gold and inlays of green and red, and has raised bands on the spine with panels in blind tooling, red leather inlays, and gold lettering. The other book is number 14 of 225 copies of Caelica, by Fulke Greville, Baron Brooke, edited by Una Ellis-Fermor. The work is printed on unbleached Arnold hand-made paper and the presentation copy has been bound in dark blue morocco, with inlays of vellum and lines in gold and blind, the design being continued on the spine.
