She had recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate of Education at South Glamorgan Institute and is hoping to pursue a career as a primary school teacher. Anna C. S. Tucker, 'Hadlow', Llanwenarth Citra, Abergavenny, NP7 7EY. was curator of Abergavenny Museum until January 1986 and became involved with the Abergavenny Local History Society and their research. She now works as a freelance lecturer and writer (and editor of this Journal) as well as being full-time mother of Barley. Her county guide to Gwent was published this summer by Shire Publications. Beryl Pullan, St. Teilo's House, Llantillio Pertholey, Abergavenny. moved to Abergavenny with her family in 1976. As her family grew up she was able to become more involved with subjects which had always interested her. She joined the Abergavenny Local History Society at its inauguration in the winter 1976-77. She became the co-ordinator and leader of the research committee which produced the Abergavenny Town Survey. Frank Olding, c/o 1 Attlee Avenue, Abertyleri, Gwent. NP3 7SH. is a native of Abertyleri and was educated at Nantyglo Comprehensive School. He graduated from University College, Cardiff in 1984 in Archaeology and Welsh Studies. He worked at Abergavenny Museum 1985-86. He is currently working on an MA. thesis about the Arthurian legends in Wales and is also working part-time for the tourist Board. Mrs. Marie Davies, B.A., 'Kumara', 6 Park Villa, Tredegar. is a former Headmistress of Markham School and Georgetown School, Tredegar. She is a founder member of the Tredegar Local History Society which began in 1960, and she still pursues an active interest in local history.
