Metorological Obserbations in tht Societp's District, 1900. By H. HEYWOOD, F.R. MET. Soc. IN presenting to the readers of this section of the Society's Transactions the records of the Rainfall for the year 1900, it will be seen that the tables of averages have been continued, as each year enhances their value. The average monthly rainfall over the whole of the Society's district comprised within a semi-circular area, having the Beacons at its most northernmost point, and its base the coast line from Neath to Chepstow, and with a mean height above the sea level of 411 feet is as follows 1900. 1899.
