Excavation in the field near the Church might throw some light upon the question, as it would probably show the nature of the monastic buildings, and it might lead to even more interesting discoveries. In conclusion, I can only express my regret that I have been able to find so little bearing upon the relations of Tewkesbury Abbey with Llantwit. I am sure we should all be much obliged to any one who could point out any source from which further information on that subject could be derived.
