LEPIDOPTERA. Colias edusa, L. 1928 was a real Clouded Yellow year, and this hand- some butterfly was plentiful in the County. The interesting O aberration helice, Hb. was recorded from Margam Park by Mr. E. U. David, and from Penarth by Mr. T. Colvin Watson Anosia plexippus, L. The Monarch. An example of this handsome immigrant was seen at Llanmadoc on 5th September, at flowers of sea lavender, by Mr. H. E. David. The following are additions to the Glamorgan List Sesia scoliiformis, Bork. In a copy of Stainton's Manual, formerly in the possession of Mr. C. W. Williams, a well-known Penarth entomologist of some years back, is a pencil note that this species had occurred in the Taff and Neath Valleys it may quite possibly be correct, but further confirmation is most desirable. Sesia musciformis, View. The same book records this species, the Thrift Clearwing, from the Mumbles this is no doubt correct, as the species is abundant in Pembrokeshire.
