ADDITIONS TO THE COLEOPTERA OF GLAMORGAN. By J. R. LE B. TOMLIN, M.A., F.R.E.S. The List of beetles was published in four parts in the Society's Transactions from Vol. XLV. to XL VIII. (1912- 1915). Since then a very long list of addenda has accumulated, mainly due to the assiduous and successful efforts of Mr. H. M. Hallett, and, while a good many of these additions have- been reported from time to time in the Entomologists' Months ly Magazine, it seems time to collect these scattered refer- ences together, and to present them to the Society in a more accessible form, with the addition of other records which have not hitherto appeared in print. The following references in the above Magazine contain. Glamorganshire records made by either Mr. Hallett or myself 1918, page 225. 1919, pp. 159, 260. 1921, pp. 34-36, 277. 1923, pp. 13-14, 69, 107-111, 158-160. 1924, pp. 85-87. It is obvious that Cardiff and Swansea must produce a good many foreign importations. These have been included in the following list in their systematic position rather than grouped together in a separate catalogue. This seems the more convenient way of dealing with them. Records which are not attributed to any finder are to be taken as my own. When the original list was published about 20 years ago. Canon Fowler's nomenclature in the British Coleoptera was used throughout. Since then strict adherence to the law of priority has necessitated many changes-inevitable though unwelcome, but it seems probable that the British List has. now been established on a stable basis as a result of the researches of the past two decades. It is thought, therefore, that, even in the case of a supplementary list, the latest and most approved nomenclature should be adopted, and the published records referred to above have been translated accordingly.
