Penarth, one in July. DIPTERA. Additions to the Glamorgan List are:- Xanthempis punctata Mg. Penarth, one in June, taken in the clutches of Empis tessellata. Tachista annulimana Mg. Sully, one on June 18th. Tachydromia agilis Mg. Penarth, a pair on May 27th. Bucentes cristata Fab. Penarth, seventeen specimens emerged in June from a noctuid larva collected the previous summer. Melanophora roralis L. Penarth, one in June. Ptilonota guttata Mg. Penarth, one in June. Euphoria caesarion Mg. Penarth, in June, probably common. Stenopteryx hirundinis L. Common in Penarth district in nests of the House Martin (F. Standfield). In one nest a dozen pupae were found, half of these hatched out in the course of a week or so, the remainder over wintered and emerged early in the following June. Melophagus ovinus L. Common on sheep; Lavernock; Swansea (Thompson).
