OTHER ACTIVITIES During the session two informal study groups within the Section were established-an Entomology group organised by Mrs. Sutherland and a Botany group organised by Mrs. Collings. A small number of members carried out preliminary work during the spring and summer of 1966 at Coed-y-bedw, near Taffs Well, on a sectional research project. The aim was to investigate the natt ral history and distribution of some ground living beetles. The project is to be expanded in 1966-67. M. F. CLARIDGE, Hon. Secretary
