England Special mention should be made of the R.S.P.B. and Wildfowl Trust Film Shows. Because it was considered that the size of the R.S.P.B. show should be increased in a city of Cardiff's size, the films were shown twice, on consecutive nights, with a resulting total audience of over 700. The Wildfowl Trust Film Show was organised locally by the Section, with members distributing posters and handbills, putting advertisements in papers and acting as stewards on the night. Despite the relatively poor attendance of under 200, it is hoped that this show will also become an annual event, and the Section has agreed with the Wildfowl Trust to run it as a joint show on similar lines to the R.S.P.B. show. OUTDOOR MEETINGS Field meetings were arranged to Ynyshir (September), Portland Bill (October), Llandegfedd Reservoir (November), Tregaron (December), Whiteford (January), Slimbridge (February), Talybont Reservoir (March), Worms Head (April), the Gwenffrwd (May), New Forest, a weekend trip (June), and Ramsey Island (July
