An Exhibition on the Glamorganshire Canal Nature Reserve was arranged for the occasion by the President in his capacity of Keeper of Botany, and the Society's Hon. Librarian also organised an exhibition of books and other records from the Society's Library. Refreshments were served and the Society once again wishes to express its deep gratitude to the Council of the Museum for allowing the function to be held there and to the staff for their assistance in so many ways. Having regard to the financial loss which continues to result from these Receptions, Council has reached the conclusion that the next Reception should not take place until the 1978-79 Session and thereafter biennially.
