Cards. 1725-30, Cardigan Bor. 1741-47): md. Elizabeth dr. and coh. of Athelstan Owen of Rhiwsaeson, Mont. by whom he had issue: he d. in 1780. At Nant-eos was a portrait of 'Rev William Powell of Nanteos, LL.D., 1705-1780. Brother and heir of Thomas Powell.
